The testing of the latest American seed drill "Kinze" is held in Ukraine

The seed drill Kinze 4800 is a novelty in the American line of "Kinze", which is being tested on the fields of Ukrainian agricultural producers this year. This unit was presented at the "AGROEXPO 2018" - the largest exhibition in Ukraine.

According to the brand manager of "Kinze", Roman Ovdin, this unit is the only one on the territory of Ukraine.

“Kinze 4800 is a 24-row vacuum precision seed drill. The machine is intended for row-crop planting with inter-row spacing of 70 cm. The seed drill was created to increase efficiency and a period of uninterrupted work in the field. The volumetric tankers for seeds and fertilizers, as well as a large operating width of the seed drill allow the increasing of its productivity”, reports Roman Ovdin.

Peculiarities of the seed drill Kinze 4800:

- it is aggregated with a tractor of 400 hp;

- it is suitable for various sowing technologies - traditional, minimal, zero;

- сentral tank for the application of fertilizers with a capacity of 5 m3;

- depending on the need and request of the customer, fertilizers can be applied in the space between rows, directly in a row, below the seed bedding or above the seed bed.

High volumes of tankers reduce the load time with seeds and fertilizers, as a result the working capacity is increased. It is possible to apply granulated or liquid mineral fertilizers. Despite the considerable dimensions of the seed drill and thanks to the additional hydraulic loading of the side-members, perfect contour following is achieved.

The evenness and accuracy of seeding depth are ensured by a system of pneumatic compression of sections. The seed drill is completed with vacuum drilling mechanisms, which provide high seeding accuracy even at high running speed of the unit.

Today, the only test unit of the Kinze 4800 is presented in Ukraine. Commercial sales in Ukraine are scheduled for 2019-2020
