In the Mykolaiv Oblast was shown an experimental field of chickpea and lentil

Near the town Mykolaiv, July 18, "DEMO-FIELD 2018" was held, it was dedicated for niche cultures from the scientific and production company "IRLEN", informs farmerscan.com

Experimental stretches with different protection systems of chickpea and lentil were put on the demonstration field. There were shown sunflower hybrids of foreign brands, in particular confectionary sunflower.

"On this demonstration field, the predecessor was a mustard. After harvesting, 40 kg/ha of ammonium sulphate and 40 kg/ha ammophos were applied, the soil was cultivated with a disk harrow and completely prepared from autumn .In the spring, pre-sowing cultivation and sowing were held. The sowing of sunflower was held on April 28", - said Oleksii Romanenko, advisory agriculturist of research and production company "IRLEN" Ltd.

In the plenary, the organizers talked about a number of preparations and a complex of microfertilizers recommended for use on chickpea and lentil.
