Analyze soil and plants with an accuracy of 99% in Ukraine

The laboratory, which is called "Scientific Research Center Afina Pallada", was opened in Mykolaiv. There is modern American equipment that allows to carry out an analysis of soil, seeds, plants and water. The experts assure that it is possible to determine the content of 74 elements, including heavy metals, with an accuracy of up to 99%.

It is possible to achieve such indicators by the usage of an optical emission spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma from the manufacturer "PerkinElmer", USA. Only three laboratories of Ukraine have such equipment. It also possible to carry out soil analysis with the help of this equipment in the "Scientific Research Center Afina Pallada".

Agrochemical soil analysis allows to learn necessary information about the availability of nutrients for plants and their fertilizer needs. These data will help the owner of an agricultural enterprise to save money on fertilizers. On the basis of the laboratory results, the agronomist will know, which elements are missing on the field, and which are in plenty. Therefore, there will be no need to buy expensive fertilizers with a large spectrum of micronutrient elements. In accordance with the recommendations of laboratory specialists, soil analysis should be carried out before fertilizer application or after harvesting the forecrop.

The material for the analysis consists of 10 incremental samples, which guarantees maximum accuracy. The sampling is conducted on area of 10 hectares. With the help of the automatic seed sampler “Nietfeld DuoProb 60”, an agronomist-researcher can take samples in two ways: from 0 to 30 cm and from 30-60 cm in one turn with placing samples in different containers.

Phytopathological researches of plants will help to identify fungal diseases at early stages, even before the appearance of visual symptoms. Plants are checked every 10-15 days from the sowing time. Diseases can be identified at any time. For this purpose, plants are selected from the hotbed of infection and several other places on the field to make sure that the disease is localized. It is more difficult to determine the lack of necessary elements in the plant, because it is necessary to take into account the cultivated crop, considering individually critical periods.

The laboratory also analyzes the seeds, in particular, its viability, purity and the availability of fungal diseases. The specialist will provide recommendations on the plantability of seeds, and with what norm it should be sown. Optionally, the analysis can be carried out at once after purchase, before sowing or at any other period of storage of seeds.

The analysis does not take much time; it depends on the number of samples. The experts can provide results within 3-10 days. The price policy of the laboratory is quite loyal and varies from 200 to 1250 UAH.
