«Field Days» of international level were held in Kiev Oblast

In Kiev Oblast , in p.g.t. Doslidnytske from 20 to 22 June was held an agricultural exhibition «International Field Days Ukraine». Different companies from all over Ukraine, Germany and other European countries had the opportunity to demonstrate their achievements and innovations.

The event was organized by the Ukrainian companies «DLG Ukraine» and «Agrarian Demonstration and training center» in cooperation with the German company «IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH».

There were competitions of sprayers on the special range with obstacles in the event program. The best sprayers of foreign brands were tested for rod rigidity and running speed.

On the demonstration plots were presented breeds and hybrids of agricultural crops from well-known manufacturing companies. In addition to seed material, the protection and fertilizer technologies were demonstrated. The main attention was attracted by spiked cereals, soybeans, corn, sugar beet.

This year, the largest exhibition area was occupied by the Ukrainian manufacturer of PPA and microfertilizers GC «UKRAVIT». All interested persons could pose interesting questions to experts and get acquainted with preparations of domestic production under field conditions.

For the first time GC «UKRAVIT» presented a range of services of the «Institute of Plant Health», which helps to analyze soil, seeds, water and plants. According to the representatives of the company, this will bring to a new level the conduct of agricultural business in Ukraine.

There were also various entertainments in the program of the exhibition. For example, the magazine «Agroexpert» offered to take part in the exciting agro-quest. Following the cues, the participants proceeded along the planned route to the exhibition stands of companies, where they had to answer the questions posed. More correct answers, more valuable prize. Thus, visitors received not only gifts, but also useful knowledge.

Association «Dunaiskaia soia» has presented a number of achievements in soybeans cultivation «Without GMO». The main tasks of the association are the propagation, promotion and development of soybeans production, grown according to clearly defined quality criteria.

«Our association geared towards promotion the production and consumption of soybeans without GMO, grown with reduced use of pesticides. The peculiarity of such soybeans is that when it grows, the influence on the environment is reduced, also we have special standards, according to which we can certify the companies that are engaged in the cultivation of soybeans. Starting from European countries, there is a demand for soybeans without GMO and even for animal products, which is fed with such soybeans», said the representative of the association Volodymyr Puhachov.

The representative also said that membership in the association makes it possible to create reliable soybeans supply chains to the EU countries and get added value. Also, the members of the association are provided with recommendations on the cultivation of non-GMO soybeans; new cultivation technologies are being developed.

«According to official data in Ukraine for 2017, the yield of soybeans was 1.9 t/ha, taking into account the European countries, the yield starts from 3.5 to 4.5 t/ha. This is just caused by a more stable technology of cultivation», added the expert.

In addition, visitors of the exhibition could get familiar with the work of tillage outfit, sowing machines, harvesting equipment. Various agricultural machines were demonstrated both in static and directly on the field. At the exhibition was presented the equipment of such world manufacturers as «Lemken», «Horsch», «John Deere», «Vaderstad», «CLAAS», «Amazone», «Case IH» and others.

«International Field Days Ukraine» is an annual exhibition of the European format, which is attended by thousands of guests from all over Ukraine and Europe. The next exhibition is scheduled for June 2019.
